Prayer Format ... PSALM 4

My perfect Lord, we really need You. Please give us Your compassion and sympathy.  Help us to not turn Your blessings into regrets. Help us to not misdirect Your love or give our attention to the false priorities of this world.
Our trust is with you LORD. In our silence, we search our hearts and we bring our sins before you and ask for your forgiveness. Lord, bring us to safety from our worries and sorrows, so we can joyfully rest in Your peace.

This prayer was written by King David approximately 1000 years before Christ, was sung and would set the mood for the worship service. It is very similar in format to the "The Lord's Prayer" which came directly from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Here is the format: Acknowledge, Praise and Agree with our loving God.
Ask God to take care of us, to forgive us as we forgive others, to help us to avoid temptation and to pull us out of the ocean of sin.

Remember to ALWAYS AGREE with our Loving God by referring to His Word and to minimize what the world says, then you will be safe and your life will be in perfect peace.

Rest in the Peace of the Lord which surpasses all understanding.

1 Corinthians 12 ... The Body of Christ

There are different ways to serve, but we serve the same Lord. And there are different ways that God works in people, but it is the same God who works in all of us to do everything.

Something special is given by the Spirit of God to each one of us so that we may help each other. (The Fruit of the Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit)

A person has only one body with many parts but all these parts are still just one body. Each part of the body is different. God put all of the parts together within the body as He desired. He made a special place for each part. God put the body together and gave more honor to the weaker parts that needed it. God did this so that our body would not be divided. God wanted all the parts to care the same for each other. If one part of the body suffers, then all the other parts suffer along with it. If one part is honored, then all the other parts share this honor.

All of us together are the Body of Christ. Each one of us is an important part of this body.

There are three things that will never end: faith, hope and love.
And the greatest of these is love.
