Proverbs 9:1-6
1 Wisdom has built her house; she has
hewn out its seven pillars. 2 She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; she
has also set her table. 3 She has sent out her maids, and she calls from the
highest point of the city. 4 "Let all who are simple come in here!"
she says to those who lack judgment. 5 "Come, eat my food and drink the
wine I have mixed. 6 Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way
of understanding.
The Wisdom of God has been established. God calls out to everyone and sends His ambassadors to
inform everyone that we need to accept Jesus as our Savior. Our Redeemer makes all
things right and all things new. He has paid for all of our sins and our illnesses. We will be
given the grace to understand this, then we will be set free from our old
earthly lives and we will live renewed, full of God's love, we will be
forgiven, we will be right with God, physically and emotionally healthy, in the
peace of the Lord and blessed exceedingly and abundantly as royalty, right now, as heirs to the Kingdom
of God.
7 Pillars of Wisdom Align to the 7 Spiritual Gifts
Bible scholars have
interpreted Isaiah 11 into the seven spiritual gifts of:
wisdom, understanding, good judgement, knowledge, power to resist lies & temptations
and fear of the Lord (the wonder, awe and respect for God).
And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest
upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and
might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And his delight shall
be in the fear of the Lord. (Isaiah 11)
The Kingdom of God is Here Now
Once, having been asked by
the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The Kingdom
of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here
it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the Kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:20-21)
"Enter through the narrow
gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and
many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to
life, and only a few find it." (Matthew
7:13-14)
"From the days of John the
Baptist until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing, and
forceful men lay hold of it." (Matthew 11:12)
Jesus says in verse 28,
"If it is by the power of the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then
the Kingdom of God has come upon you." When Jesus does battle with Satan
by the Spirit of God, and begins to plunder the strong man's house (v. 29),
freeing people from his bondage, the powers of the kingdom are at work and the
kingdom is already present.
Jesus says to his disciples,
"To you it has been given to know the secrets [mysteries] of the Kingdom
of the Heaven. But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they
hear. Truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what
you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear and did not hear
it." (Matthew 13:11)
When we accept Christ and He
lives within us, any negative and sinful thoughts can ONLY ORIGINATE from the 'old' person who has already died on the cross with Christ. We are being
‘haunted’ by the old person ... RESIST these thoughts and they will flee. Only
accept thoughts that are aligned with the gifts and the fruit of the Holy
Spirit. You are a new person, a child of God ... You are royalty in God's
Kingdom ... ACT THAT WAY ... The benefits and blessings are endless.
