Come To Me

Come To Me
Isaiah 53:4-12
4 Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed. 6 All of us sheep have gone astray; we have all turned to our own way, and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. 8 By a perversion of justice he was taken away. Who could have imagined his future? For he was cut off from the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people. 9 They made his grave with the wicked and his tomb with the rich, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him with pain. When you make his life an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring, and shall prolong his days; through him the will of the Lord shall prosper. 11  Out of his anguish he shall see light; he shall find satisfaction through his knowledge. The righteous one, my servant, shall make many righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will allot him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out himself to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

In summary
Jesus suffered all of our illnesses and diseases in our place. He was severely beaten for our sins - kicked and trampled on for our wickedness. His punishment allows us to start our lives all over again and because of His wounds we have been healed.  He assumed full responsibility for our immoralities. He was unfairly accused yet He remained silent. He was dragged away and taken away. He was punished, tortured and ransomed His life to pay for our sins. Because of Jesus, the Will of God is done on earth – “Thy Will Be Done”. He sees the light of God's Kingdom through the darkness and He is satisfied knowing that He has accomplished His goal - “Thy Kingdom come”. We are made right with God because He took on our punishment. Jesus is great, Jesus is strong; He gave all that He could possibly give even to His death. He became a criminal to carry our sins and to become 'The Way' to Our Father.

Jesus says . . .
Please know that I suffered and died on your behalf, so all of your sins would be forgiven and so all of your illnesses would be healed. You come to me with your sins and I forgive them but you don't always come to me with your illness, your emotional distress, your family anxiety, your work stress, your financial worry, etc. so that I can heal them? Please know that I have 'paid in full' for all of these situations. I came to set you free from all of these 'prisons' so you can live with love, joy and peace in The Kingdom and be filled with blessings now. My children. I love you so much. I will never leave you … I am with you always.
