Prepare for the Rapture

Apocalypse means “unveiling or revealing” and is translated as ‘revelation’. It is another name for the Book of Revelation because it reveals Jesus’ end-time plan to remove evil from Earth.

Rapture means: the “clutching away” of God’s people in mid-air when Jesus returns. In this glorious event, Christians who have died will be resurrected and rise from their graves to meet Jesus in the sky. Then, Christians alive on earth will ascend to meet Jesus in the sky.
(Some Christians believe the Rapture will occur before the Tribulation. There are other Christians who believe the Rapture will occur after the Tribulation.)

Tribulation (7 years) Jesus referred to the last three and a half years of the seven-year period as the Great Tribulation. The main focus of the Great Tribulation is the release of God’s judgments on the Antichrist. These judgments will be released through the praying believers on earth. Believers will not come under God’s judgments but will be the ones releasing them on the Antichrist.

Antichrist (“the Beast”)   A satanically empowered man who will be against Christ and seek to be worshipped by all nations. He will rule over the most powerful and most wicked worldwide empire in history. The Antichrist will battle against believers and Israel for the first 3.5 yrs of the Tribulation.

Second Coming of Christ  Jesus will come back physically to rule permanently on Earth. He will travel across the earth in the sky so that every eye clearly sees Him in every nation of the earth. At this time, the bodies of believers will be instantly transformed as they meet Jesus in the air.

Armageddon ... A great military campaign that will last for the final 3.5 yrs. The conflict will end with the Battle of Jerusalem. As the nations of the earth gather together to make war against Jesus who returns with the armies of Heaven. He saves Jerusalem from annihilation and defeats the armies of the nations fighting under the banner of the Antichrist. The Antichrist and False Prophet are captured and thrown alive into the Lake of Fire.

Millennium is a 1000-year period in which Jesus will rule the whole world from Jerusalem in righteousness and peace. The Kingdom of God will be openly manifest worldwide, affecting every sphere of life i.e. political, social, agricultural, economic, spiritual, educational, law enforcement, family, media, arts, environment, social institutions, etc.

The Last Battle  At the end of the 1,000 years, Satan will be released from his prison for a short time. He will deceive the nations once again and there will be a rebellion against the Lord that will be quickly defeated. Satan will be cast into the Lake of Fire, never to reappear.

The New Creation  God completely remakes the heavens and the earth. It is at this time that God wipes away all tears and there will be no more pain, death, or sorrow. The New Jerusalem descends from heaven and the children of God will enjoy eternity with Him.

Are you ready to be taken by Jesus during the Rapture?
We do not want to be left behind and suffer through the Tribulation.

How Do I Prepare for the Rapture?

Surrender your life to Jesus, our Master. Put Him in control of your life. Be obedient to His Will.

Ask the Holy Spirit to come into your heart and to fill you with His presence.
Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in everything you do.
Ask Him to bless you with one or more spiritual gifts and use them.

Forgive others who have hurt (trespassed against) you.
Ask The Father to forgive you for your sins (trespasses) on a daily basis and avoid repeating them.
Ask the Father to deliver you from your evil ways and habits.
Resist temptations and do not conform to this world. Transform your way of thinking.

Be like Jesus by Walking in the Fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control).

Love and serve others as Jesus loved and served us.

Matthew 24:29 "Immediately after the distress of those days, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time, the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”

Matthew 24:36 “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”

Matthew 24:23  “At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. Be aware that I have told you this ahead of time.”

2 Peter 3:10-12 “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God.”

Mark 13:33 Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come... for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning— lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake.”
