Isaiah 40:21-31
21 Have you
not known? Have you not heard? Has
it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the
foundations of the earth?
22 It is he who sits above the circle of the earth,
and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a
curtain, and spreads them like a tent to live in;
23 who brings princes to
naught, and makes the rulers of the earth as nothing.
24 Scarcely are they
planted, scarcely sown, scarcely has their stem taken root in the earth, when
he blows upon them, and they wither, and the tempest carries them off like
stubble. 25 To whom then will you compare me, or who is my equal? says the Holy
One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high and see: Who created these? He who brings out
their host and numbers them, calling them all by name; because he is great in
strength, mighty in power, not one is missing. 27 Why do you say, O Jacob, and
speak, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the Lord, and my right is
disregarded by my God"? 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The
Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not
faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to
the faint, and strengthens the powerless. 30 Even youths will faint and be
weary, and the young will fall exhausted; 31 but those who wait for the Lord
shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they
shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
God, the creator of all things,
is always there … 24x7.
When we call Him, we never get a Busy Signal.
He never gets tired, doesn’t
sleep, doesn’t rest.
He is always watching over us. He is always with us.
He is aware of everything
and everyone around us.
Nothing is hidden from Him … true motives, etc.
He gives power to those who
are weak and He gives strength to those who are powerless.
Those
who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
they
shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they
shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
IF
We
know that God exists, and if we know that God can do all things, and if we know
that nothing is too small or too large for Our Father, and if we know that He
loves us beyond our understanding, and if we know that He wants the best for
us, and if we know that choosing to do His will is the best thing we can ever do,
and if we know that He has a wonderful plan for our lives, and if we know that
He wants us just the way we are, and if we know that He wants to help us make
the best choices possible, and if we know that we have nothing to fear because
He is always with us, and if we know that He has promised to protect us and
guide us, and if we know that He doesn’t lie, and if we know that He doesn’t
want us to worry about anything, and if we know that He wants us to be healthy,
and if we know that because of His son, Jesus Christ dying on the cross we are
forgiven for all of our sins and we are healed of all illnesses, and if we know
that if we accept Christ as Our Savior that we become children of God, and if
we know that we are royalty in God’s Kingdom which is here now on earth, and if
we know that we can always turn to Him for help at any time . . .
THEN
why
don’t we trust Him, why don’t we place our lives in His hands, why don’t we
talk to Him all of the time, why are we not always with Him, why don’t we
accept His love and share His love with others, why don’t we accept His
blessings and bless others, why don’t we tell everyone about this great news,
why don’t we confess our sins, accept Christ as Our Savior and ask God to
forgive us, why don’t we place Christ before us and stand behind Him in
everything we do, why don’t we thank Him for everything we have, why don’t we
get on our knees and realize how lucky we are and praise God for being so good
to us even though we don’t deserve any of His love and blessings, why don’t we
take a moment to quietly say to God … “Father, I love you, I am truly sorry for
making the wrong choices in my life, thank you for ALL you do for me, thank you
for taking care of my family and friends, thank you for loving me the way I am,
I love you and please help me to not be distracted or ever turn away from you
again.”
HAVEN'T YOU HEARD?
