WE ARE LIVING A LIE

WE ARE LIVING A LIE
Let's start from the very beginning.
1. First there was always God ... No beginning, No end.
2. Then there was His creation ... our universe, our solar system, our planet, our environment, plant life, animal life, ... everything we could possibly need to live a full life.
3. Then mankind was created, God's children, made in His image and likeness. We were made because He loved us. We were made to love Him in return and to love one another.
4. We were also created with a Free Will allowing us to choose between doing God's will or going against His will.

If we choose Our Father and Our Creator, we will live in His Kingdom, a world filled with God's love, care, protection and blessings. A world where we have dominion over creation and where we have the authority to subdue creation. There is only love, there is no sin. Our every possible need is satisfied.

If we choose to go against God's Will then we cannot live in His Kingdom. We must move away from God to a world that is ruled by "the enemy". This would be a life where God is not first in our lives and where we do not share God's love with each other. Life without God makes us prisoners of our own desires and goals. We are held captive by 'the enemy'. We end up believing that we need to strive for power, fame and wealth. This will bring success, satisfaction, peace, happiness and joy to our lives. Instead, we discover that these desires only lead to chaos, hate, killing, revenge, destruction, pain and suffering.  WE ARE LIVING A LIE.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is where we are today, right now. Our purpose and our goals are all governed by lies. By conforming to these principals, we become prisoners to the thinking of this world. We are held captive by our own selfish desires.

Many of us who believe that God exists believe that He is far removed and at times intervenes in our lives, yet we continue to live day by day in our self-imposed prisons and we are still held captive by our personal desires and fears. Some of us, and those are few, believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and have been set free by the truth.

What is the Truth?
Jesus told Pilate, “I have been born and have come into this world to testify to the truth.”
Pilate asked, “What is the truth?” The Greek word for truth is “to unhide” something that was always there. This means the truth must originate from something that always existed. The only thing that always was, is God (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit). “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God … and the Word was made flesh.”
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life." and "The truth will set you free."
God is love. God created us. God loves us.
He wants us to return to His Kingdom (our original home).
He wants to re-adopt us as His children and to be heirs to His Kingdom.
He wants to forgive us and make us right with Him. He wants us to get to know Him.
He wants to take care of us and to protect us. He wants only the best for us.
The TRUTH is Jesus Christ. The only way to the Father is through Jesus. He is “the way, the truth and the life.” Christ did not come to condemn us, He came to set us free from our prisons so that we may live our lives to the fullest. Through Christ, we are awakened, our eyes are opened, we can hear again, our hearts are softened, our spirit is renewed. We recognize and understand the wrong choices we have made in life. We promise to not conform to this world and we ask to be forgiven. Through Christ, we are forgiven and restored to the Family of God. We are freed from our earthly prisons and we are filled by the Holy Spirit of God who guides us to love God above all things and to love each other and to live life to its fullest in God’s Kingdom.

The Truth will set us free.
