Studying the Word of God
Jesus
said, " it is written that man does not live by bread alone, but by every
word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4) The Word of
God can be found in the Bible.
Paul
said: "Every Bible passage is inspired by God. Each verse is useful for
teaching, pointing out errors, correcting people and training them for a life
that is blessed by God." (2Timothy 3:16)
The
Word of God is to "be desired more than gold, yes, more than fine
gold" (Psalms 19:10)
God
gave us the Bible out of His unlimited love for us. It is the one true source
for helping us make the right choices in ALL of life's situations. It helps us
to understand who God is, who Jesus is and who the Holy Spirit is and why they
are all so important in fulfilling God's purpose for us here on earth.
With
the Bible, we learn how to love, trust, listen, obey and agree with God. We
discover the principles of living in God's Kingdom right now and how to receive
and be filled by the Holy Spirit so we can share the multitude of God's
blessings with others.
God
says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6)
We
desperately need His Word and instruction from the Holy Spirit to obtain this
knowledge.
"Faith
comes from hearing and hearing by the Word of God." (Romans 10:17)
Please join a Bible Study near you where you can study and apply the Word of
God to your everyday life and where you can pray to be freed from your
prison of worries, concerns, illnesses, etc. Obtain a Daily Devotional and read one page every day.

Almighty
Father, please open our ears and our hearts to Your Word and awaken our
spiritual gifts to bring others to You and to bear fruit in Your Kingdom. Amen.
