Sharing God's Love
Opening
prayer:
Father, it’s a good thing
that Your love for us does not depend on us but that Your love is always there
for our taking and never changes. Absolutely nothing can ever separate us from
Your love. You love us just the way we are. You just want us to come home to
You for your help and guidance so that we may enjoy the many blessings you have
waiting for us. Once we learn to receive your love then we need to share your
love by telling others and loving others.
"Dear
friends, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Whoever loves is
a child of God and knows God." (1
John 4:7)
Please
consider sharing God's love. Here are some ways:

send a loving e-mail,
-
make a loving phone call,
-
smile at everyone you pass,
-
tell someone that they are doing a great job,
-
tell someone that you appreciate them very much,
-
slow down and pause to let someone get onto the road of traffic,
-
pay for someone's coffee,
-
send a loving greeting card,
-
visit someone in the hospital or in an assisted living residence,
-
pray for someone,
-
pray for those who have no one to pray for them,
-
pray for those who don't like you and wish you harm,
-
bring joy to someone by telling them a joke,
-
allow God's love to flow through you to everyone that you come into contact
with,
-
make it your goal to share God's love, joy, peace and forgiveness.
You
will see that God will continue to fill you with more and more of His love and
blessings for you to share with others.
Closing
prayer:
Jesus, the only thing we can
bring to You is our sins. We thank You for taking on the punishment of our sins
and for forgiving us. Help us to forgive and love others. Thank You for
allowing us to live in Your kingdom right now at this moment … a kingdom filled
with an abundance of Your grace and Your blessings. In all these things we pray
in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. AMEN
