The only thing you should owe someone is your love;

The commandments ... are all summed up in this, “Love your neighbor as
yourself.”

Love .. fulfills the law of God.

Do you know what time it is? It is now time for you to wake up from your sleep.

The night is far gone and the day is near. Put aside the works of darkness and
put on the armor of light;

Live honorably ... life is not about partying and getting drunk, not about
sensual and carnal pleasures, not about quarreling and jealousy.
14
Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no allowance for the desires of
the flesh.
Verses 8-11
Summary: It's all about love ... God is love.
When Christ was asked, "What is the most
important commandment?" He answered with the 'Golden Rule' ... To love God
with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as
yourself (Mark 12:28-34).
Please take a closer look at:
A. the 4 components: 'heart' and soul, mind and body.
B. What does it mean when Jesus says, "As you love yourself".
Is it possible to not love yourself? Love yourself as God loves you.
John 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love
one another. In the same way that I have loved you, so you must love one
another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one
another.”
Verses 11-14
Wake up ... NOW!
We are living and sleeping in the false
securities provided by this world. We are complacent with our non-spiritual
lives. We are not living in the Kingdom of God which is here now.
Once we accept that Christ died and
resurrected for us, we can truly begin to KNOW GOD. This means we no longer
live in a natural world, instead we live in a supernatural world. A world full
of God's love and blessings where miracles are the norm not the exception.
How should we dress for the occasion? Take
off the old clothes of this world and put on the armor of light. Why the armor?
We still need to be protected from the enemy as we share the love of God. Dress
up wearing the line of clothes designed by Christ. All carefully tailored, hand
stitched and made with God's love.
